Midfielder Gavin Mahon joined QPR in January 2008 from local rivals Watford.
A solid and reliable midfield general, Mahon - who skippered former Club Watford to the Premiership during a five-year spell at Vicarage Road - made 40 appearances in all competitions last term.
During that spell, he also wore the skippers' armband, in the absence of regular Club Captain, Martin Rowlands.
