Following the success of last season's summer tour to Denmark, QPR Girls have already taken part in several sponsored events this season and are well on their way to reaching a target of raising £7,000.

The Girls have now raised a staggering £5,200, with sponsored events such as penalty shoot-outs and crossbar challenges helping to increase the total money raised.

The money will enable the younger age groups to participate in domestic festivals and tournaments, and the older age groups to compete in an overseas pre-season tournament.
