In a thrilling Middlesex FA County Cup Final, held at Rayners Lane FC, QPR Under-15 Girls emerged victorious against Enfield Town Ladies.
Rangers trailed 1-0 at half-time, only to fight back to win 3-1, to the delight of boss Steve Quashie.
"It was an exciting game and a great advert for Women's and Girls' Football," he told www.qpr.co.uk.
"The girls worked extremely hard and played with great creativity and intelligence.
"Cup Finals are normally tense affairs, but we really shone in the second half and thoroughly deserved the win."
Quashie's side will now progress to the Southern England Regional Final of the TESCO U-16 Girls Cup, to be held on Saturday 18th April. The match takes place at the Richardson Evans Memorial Playing Fields, Stag Lane, SW15 3PG.
In the Under-14 County Cup Final, our Under-13 girls succumbed to defeat for the first time this season, losing 4-2 to Denham United.
