Following years of success in the Home Counties League, the Club made the decision for the Under-15 age group to play in non-competitive development fixtures on Saturday mornings.
The playing level is higher than local leagues, and every Saturday the squad pit their wits against professional Clubs in the South East and the Midlands.
The games are generally played at a high tempo and this group of players try to use good technique and tactical cunning to outsmart their opponents, in some very challenging encounters.
The Girls' training programme has been modified since the start of the season to allow adequate time to be spent in the classroom environment, as this allows the players to critically evaluate their performances.
Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk, Manager Dale McGinnes said: "In the games to date the Girls have performed well, however further progress must be made in order for the players to have long and fruitful careers.
"I have been very impressed with the standard of our opponents and we have held our own especially in games against Charlton, Northampton, Reading, Southampton and Spurs.
"This highlights the progress we have made, as the above Clubs have been established in the female game for many years."
Following a mid-season break, the squad has resumed training and their first fixture for the New Year will be played at the end of this month.
