Following hot on the heels of the First Team's triumph in the Middlesex Women's Senior Cup recently, QPR Ladies Thirds have lifted the Thames Valley Counties League Cup.
In an exciting final against Mansfield Road Ladies - who are the current league leaders ahead of the R's in second place - another piece of silverware was added to the trophy cabinet, as the Hoops ran out worthy 2-1 winners.
Vanessa Oppong opened the scoring with a contender for goal of the season - a strike from fully 25 yards that flew into the roof of the net.
Undeterred, Mansfield Road were on terms on the stroke of half-time, setting up a tense second half finale.
Midway through the second half, however, Rangers scored the all-important third goal of the contest.
In-form Chloe Julien found herself clean through on goal following a neat passing move before calmly slotting home into the bottom corner.
Rangers were by far the better side throughout, with the whole squad playing their part, none more so than the influential trio of Oppong, Eleni Savva and Julien.
Furthermore, they can also now boast that in both the Semi Final and Final they have won against teams who had gone all season unbeaten, and remarkably so, in first full season together.
