QPR Reserves lost 3-1 to a strong Tottenham side this afternoon but put in a creditable performance which had Ronnie Jepson labelling them 'excellent' at the final whistle.
A trialist was on target for the R's at Spurs Lodge against a Tottenham team which included the likes of Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley and William Gallas.
Martin Rowlands continued on the path to a First team return with a 70-minute run-out, and Reserve Team Manager Jepson told
www.qpr.co.uk: "It was a really good exercise for us, and the boys were excellent against very good opposition.
"It was a very good match played at a great tempo, and it was really useful for the likes of Antonio German and
Romone Rose to play against that calibre of opponent.
"Rowly came through without any problems and, as a bunch, I was really pleased with them all."
