YOU BET! INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL

With qualification for next year's World Cup already in the bag, England take on Brazil in Qatar on Saturday (5.00pm, live on ITV1) with only bragging rights at stake.

The Brazilians are currently 9/2 joint favourites for next year's tournament (along with Spain), closely followed by England at 11/2.

There should be little between the two sides here, but - considering that Brazil have been unconvincing of late - there will be plenty of punters willing to back England at 12/5 with Bet365 - they go 11/10 Brazil, 12/5 the draw.

However, with both sides prone to defensive errors of late, the smart play might be on 'Over 2.5' goals at 19/20.

There is more serious fare in Dublin where Ireland play the first leg of their play-off against France (8pm, live on SS1).

Bet365 make the French favourites to win on the night (11/8) and qualify overall (1/3), but they are a long way from the side that won the World Cup a little over a decade ago and the Irish can give them a tough game.

Giovanni Trappattoni's side drew twice with Italy during qualifying and they could be worth a small bet at 21/10 that they can keep it tight and force a draw. They are the same price with Bet365 to win the game.
