With the R's Barclays Premier League campaign now in full swing, the Club's coverage off the pitch is also of a 'Premier' model.
For the 2011/12 season the information and content available on our social media pages - Facebook, Twitter and You Tube - will make all three crucial assets for any fans wanting to keep up-to-date with the latest and most important QPR information.
Facebook
Our official Facebook page currently has nearly 23,000 followers and we want even more QPR fans staying in touch.
The site has undergone a number of changes, with several sections being added or tweaked to improve the experience for QPR fans, as well as making more information readily available. These include the following:
Welcome Page ... The Welcome Page will greet fans once they've logged into the Club's Facebook domain, displaying the top QPR headlines, the previous and upcoming match, player profiles and a snapshot of our position in the league table.
Shopping Page ... The refreshed Shopping Page will provide access to the latest products and special offers, but it won't just feature Superstore products. The page will also provide fans with the opportunity to purchase match tickets, hospitality seats, places in Soccer Schools and much, much more.
The Wall ... In addition to providing a community for our fans to share and discuss their views, we want them to be able to stay as close as possible to the matchday action.
The Wall will be THE information portal during QPR matches, keeping fans updated with all the goals, saves, fouls and other talking points as they're taking place.
Twitter
Our official Twitter page is also a great asset for fans looking to catch up on the latest news, match incidents and post-match reaction. The Twitter format makes it the perfect portal to keep R's fans up-to-speed on all things QPR while they're on the road.
What's more, you can also follow our roving reporters up and down the country this campaign - simply follow @IJTaylor81, @OPRPlayer, @WebbyCOYRS and @adamhulme86.
New QPR Chairman Tony Fernandes, Vice-Chairman Amit Bhatia and Club CEO Philip Beard have begun their new roles at W12 by encouraging fans to share their views.
To contact Fernandes, Bhatia and Beard via Twitter, simply follow @tonyfernandes, @amit_bhatia99 and @philipb1.
YouTube
Our YouTube channel has been around for a while, but this season we're giving it a bit of an overhaul, bringing in a vibrant new look and feel and offering a broader range of behind-the-scenes content.
The page will also be open to our fans, allowing them to submit select footage of their own.
The three social media sites will all play an essential part in connecting fans to the Club and keeping them up-to-speed on all developments during the course of the season and beyond.
