QPR Under-18's maintained their title charge in the Puma Youth Alliance League with a 4-0 win over Barnet at Harlington.
Goals from Raheem Sterling (2), Christian Nanetti and Max Ehmer gave Rangers the points, on an afternoon when the hosts enjoyed far more possession than the Bees.
Rangers went on the attack seconds after the start of the first half, and missed a great chance to open the scoring when Hicham Abdellah was put through one-one-one, but he could only blast his shot straight at the keeper.
The R's took the lead with just over 20 minutes gone on the clock thanks to good work from international starlets Sterling and Frankie Sutherland.
The latter played a short corner to Sterling, before the striker cut in and thundered home an effort to give the R's a one-goal lead.
QPR could - and probably should - have increased their lead before the break, though Michael Doughty could only fire straight at the keeper when clean through on goal.
The R's didn't pass on the opportunity of adding to their opening goal in the second half, however, adding three more after the interval to seal the encounter.
Nanetti was heavily involved in the second. His charge into the box was deemed to have been unfairly blocked inside the area, leaving the referee with no choice but to point for a penalty.
Sterling stepped up to drill home number two.
And two was soon three, as Nanetti went from provider to scorer. Sterling was once again in the thick of the action, and his deep cross was met at the back post by Nanetti, who side footed in from close range.
The R's added a fourth as the half drew to a close. Doughty's run down the flank resulted in him cutting the ball back to Ehmer, and he tucked the ball away to complete the rout for Rangers.
Manager Steve Gallen was delighted with the victory, and told www.qpr.co.uk: "I was very pleased with the win and more so because we kept a clean sheet.
"To score four goals is obviously pleasing, we created lots of chances and could have got more.
"But overall, I was delighted with the result and the all-round performance of the lads."
