ATTACK-MINDED midfielder Ben Gladwin arrived at Loftus Road with much promise – and ability to play in multiple positions.
Although he has previously flourished in the ‘number 10’ role, Gladwin has also featured at left-back, in central midfield and up front. Gladwin is much-travelled on the non-league circuit. He spent a large chuck of his youth career with hometown club Reading.
The 22-year-old caught the eye of Swindon while with Marlow FC and transferred to The Robins in the summer of 2013. Since then, Gladwin firmly grasped his opportunity making 56 appearances for Swindon and scoring 11 goals.
In 2015 Gladwin followed his Swindon teammate Massimo Luongo by joining QPR for an undisclosed fee.
He spent most of the 2015/16 season out on loan spells back at Swindon and briefly for Bristol City.
The skilful midfielder will be hoping to make an impact ahead of what many are expecting to be a breakthrough season at Loftus Road.
