JAY Emmanuel-Thomas arrived at QPR following a season to remember with Bristol City in 2014/15.

The versatile attacker, 24, helped the Robins win the League One championship, weighing in with 12 goals over the course of the campaign.

Emmanuel-Thomas – commonly known as ‘JET’ – spent two years at Ashton Gate, scoring 33 times in 70 starts in all competitions.

In all, he made 103 appearances for the Robins.

Emmanuel-Thomas, has featured at both Under-17 and Under-19 level for England previously,  is a product of the Arsenal academy. Finding opportunities hard to come by with the Gunners, he spent time on loan with Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers and Cardiff City before Ipswich Town signed the towering forward on a permanent basis in July 2011.

Two years at Portman Road followed, as did nine goals in 43 starts. There were 75 appearances for the Tractor Boys in total before a move to Bristol City in the summer of 2013.

Emmanuel-Thomas signed for the R’s in the summer of 2015 but due to limited first team appearances joined Mk Dons on loan in January 2016.
