THE FOREVER R's Club - our former players, managers and coaches' association - was formally launched in October 2016.
Driven by once-QPR and England winger Andy Sinton - appointed club ambassador in the summer of 2015 - the association was setup to further enhance our engagement with ex-players, managers and coaches.
So far, Forever R's has recognised well over 100 former players, managers and coaches (detailed below) who have made a contribution to our history, however big or small - celebrating their achievements and embracing them with regular contact.
Popular with fans and the ever-growing list of inductees alike, we are very proud of Forever R's and how we now engage with our stars of the past - and look forward to growing even further in the years ahead.

FOREVER R's was launched as a way to continually reach out to former players, managers and coaches who have all played their part in the history of our great club. We want our former players to know that we as a club appreciate the time they spent at QPR and to know and understand they are very much welcome back here whenever it is possible - long after their days representing the club are over. It is important to understand that Forever R’s is not a 'hall of fame' and was never set up to only recognise what many people may consider to be our greatest-ever players - it is much more than that, which I believe what makes it special. Of course, who many believe to be our best players - part of successful teams here, represented their countries or served the club over many years - will be recognised and celebrated, and rightly so. But also - we have and will continue to posthumously induct former players, managers and coaches who served the club well and are sadly no longer with us. We have inducted players we believe served the club well, both on and off the field in our local community. We have inducted players, managers and coaches who have been part of successful teams and squads during their time at the club. We have inducted players who have endured tough times in their lives for various reasons and we will continue to show that support to them. All of this shows that Forever R’s and we as a club now appreciate and value the many players, managers and coaches who have played their part in our club's history and that should always be remembered and celebrated. Being a former player myself, I know how important this can be. I am very fortunate to be in touch with all our Forever R’s inductees and their families, and I know from speaking with them how much they appreciate what we as a club now do through the association. The support of our fans for Forever R's has been absolutely tremendous since we launched it and on behalf of all the inductees and their families, I want to say a huge thank you for that support shown - be it on matchdays, our annual golf day or events we put on to celebrate our Forever R’s - it really does mean so much. The part all of our inductees have played in the history of our club should not and will not be forgotten. Forever R’s helps to make sure of this now and for many years to come. Andy Sinton |
Annual Golf Day
A significant event in the Forever R's calendar, our annual golf day - attended by many inductees - is always fantastically supported by fans and corporate sponsors alike.
The day itself is our primary fundraiser for Forever R's and helps to raise significant funds for ongoing initiatives. See images below from our 2022 event, held at The Shire London.
We are delighted with how the golf day continues to grow, which is credit to everyone who plays their part in making it happen.
