PREMIER League Primary Stars (PLPS) is the Premier League’s flagship schools programme, which aims to engage all primary schools in England and Wales by 2020.
The PLPS programme complements the existing delivery provided by professional football clubs by mentoring pupils and school staff. The programme offers a range of bespoke curriculum-linked teaching resources aimed at Key Stages 1 and 2, including lesson plans, activity ideas, worksheets and video content, in order to improve the children’s literacy, numeracy and PSHE skills, while enhancing the teachers’ PE delivery.
For our delivery model, we can create a bespoke programme for your school based on your pupils' and teachers' needs. This can be anything from one to five days a week for the academic year and the day can include Literacy, Numeracy and PSHE interventions for targeted pupils, PPA cover and/or a teacher mentoring in PE, as well as a lunch-time and after-school club. All of our staff are qualified and trained to deliver each aspect of our programme.
For a range of teaching-support materials and competitions, schools can sign up for free at www.plprimarystars.com.
