Multi Sports

New sports for young people

QPR in the Community Trust has delivered Multi Sports within its programme for a number of years, focusing on engagement and offering new sports for young people to take part in.

Following on from the 2012 London Olympics the club has been funded by the Premier League and Sport England to deliver the Premier League 4 Sport programme which has seen the club deliver eight NGB sports and engage with over 4000 young people.

The Trust understands that Football isn't everyone's "cup of tea" and where possible has delivered numerous sports to help young people feel part of the club and giving them opportunities to volunteer and gain qualifications in their chosen sport.

Since the start of 2017 we have been delivering FREE Multi Sports sessions for a number of Local Partners throughout North West London from Housing association to Youth club's and pride ourselves on being  able to adapt our sessions to the needs of each individual and group.

Our focus sports this year are:

  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Table Tennis and UV Table Tennis
  • Badminton
  • Dodgeball
  • Archery / soft Archery
  • Rounders
  • Crickets
  • Hockey
  • Go Fence

As well as Multisport Sessions, we deliver Multi Skills sessions, Team Games as well as Team Building workshops within the local community.

From September 2017, we will be delivering Multi Sport Kicks sessions.
