QPR 2, Forest 5

It's a day to forget in W12 as QPR suffer a 5-2 defeat at Loftus Road. Forest led 1-0 at the break through Lee Tomlin before he doubled their advantage two minutes after half-time. Joe Lolley then made it 3-0 soon after before Luongo pulled a goal back for QPR. However, Matty Cash restored their three-goal lead for Matt Smith to head in to make it 4-2 12 minutes from time. However, there was to be no late comeback as Ben Brereton scored a fifth for Forest in stoppage time.

Smith makes it 4-2

Crazy game as Matt Smith now makes it 4-2 as Freeman's left-wing cross picks out Smith in the box and he heads in.

Rangers trail 4-1 as Smithies pushes Kieran Dowell's long-range effort away and Matty Cash follows up and reacts quickest from wide of the six-yard box.

Costel Pantilimon is booked for dissent.

QPR 0, Forest 1

The half-time whistle blows and QPR are behind at the break. Lee Tomlin's 37th-minute strike is all that separates the sides at half-time. The closet QPR have come to a goal is Matt Smith's header that landed on the line but the GDS system said no goal.

Smithies in action against to deny Brereton and then Tomlin has his follow up charged down before the R's keeper punches clear a third chance.

Smithies blocks

Great save from the chest of Alex Smithies as he charges down Ben Bereton's one on one effort after Scowen loses the ball in midfield. Excellent running from Robbo putting him under pressure all the way.
