Ipswich Town 0, QPR 2

The full-time whistle goes and it's another away day win for the R's. An own goal/Luke Freeman opener from a corner set QPR on their way before Tomer Hemed converted from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time. Eberechi Eze had a chance to extend that lead in the second half but Rangers record back to back wins on the road for the first time since January 2017.

Added time

There will be three minutes of added time.

QPR substitution

Eberechi Eze replaced by Josh Scowen.

Final 10 minutes

Into the closing stages at Portman Road. Can QPR add a third before the full-time whistle goes?

Just not been Eze's day so far as he cuts back on his left foot but his floated effort strikes the top of the bar from 18-yards.

QPR substitution

Goalscorer Tomer Hemed is replaced by Nahki Wells.

Hemed denied

Tomer Hemed nearly wraps it up for QPR as he gets a fortunate ricochet and the ball lands nicely for him to finish but Gerken gets down to deny his left-footed effort.

QPR still in attack

The corner comes to nothing but the R's are still on the hunt for a third as they attack.

QPR corner

Luke Freeman wins a corner for the R's.

Lumley saves

QPR keeper Joe Lumley gets down well to save a header from Grant Ward.

Wszolek from distance

Pawel Wszolek takes aim from distance on his return to the starting XI but it's comfortable for Gerken.

Joel Lynch is booked for a foul.

Nearly too Eze

QPR should be 3-0 up straight from the kick-off as Ipswich give up possession to Eze unmarked in the box and with the R's attacker one-on-one with Gerken he fired straight at the keeper. A bit too casual from the QPR number 10.

Second Half

We are back and underway at Portman Road as Ipswich kick-off. Come on you R's!

Ipswich Town 0, QPR 2

A great opening half here at Portman Road as the R's take a 2-0 advantage into the sheds.

Rangers go two up

Hemed makes no mistake from the spot, stroking the ball to the left of Dean Gerken to make it 2-0 to the R's.

Ebere Eze is tripped inside the area and the R's have the chance to double their lead on the stroke of half-time.

Searching for the second

Rangers looking to close out the half in style as Freeman whips in yet another corner but Hemed can't direct Toni Leistner's nod down on target.

Chance for Ipswich

Ipswich with their first sight on goal but Grant Ward completely fluffs his shot from just inside the area.

Ipswich growing into the game

The home side seeing a bit more of the ball now but have yet to test Joe Lumley in goal.

QPR on top

20 minutes gone in this opening period and it's the R's who are well on top, restricting the home side to very little.

Rangers take the lead

Luke Freeman's corner causes havoc in the box and the ball somehow bounces its way into the net.

Nearly the opener

Tomer Hemed with a great chance to break the deadlock but he heads Luke Freeman's corner just over the crossbar.

Rangers on the front foot

QPR win the first corner of the match after a period of sustained pressure but it comes to nothing.

Underway at Portman Road

C'mon you R's!

Here come the teams

Toni Leistner leads the R's out at Portman Road.
