QPR Ladies booked their place in the next round of the Capital Women's Cup with a 1-0 victory over AFC Phoenix Ladies on Sunday.
Martino Chevannes' side left it late to progress to an away tie against Fulham in the next stage, thanks to Kasha Petit's 82nd minute winner.
In a closely-fought first period, Rangers enjoyed the better opportunities, hitting the woodwork on two occasions.
Laura Hennessey hit the bar and Petit saw her effort come back off the post, in a half in which neither side could find a breakthrough goal.
The second half continued to flow from end-to-end, and it was Rangers who opened the scoring eight minutes from time, courtesy of Petit's close-range strike following a goalmouth scramble.
Despite getting their noses in front, the R's were grateful to goalkeeper Gillian Kasirye late on, with the Hoops stopper pulling off two outstanding saves in the closing stages to ensure Rangers ran out narrow victors.
