R’s share the spoils with U’s

QPR UNDER-18S shared the spoils with Colchester United on Saturday.

Jake Eales headed home a corner to give Paul Furlong’s side the lead after 19 minutes, but the defender’s goal was cancelled out just before the break.

A goalmouth scramble eventually saw Colchester slide the loose ball past Marcin Brzozowski in the R’s goal.

The teams also finished a man light each. After a melee in stoppage time at the end of the second half resulted in a sending off apiece, Rhys Springer-Downes saw red for Rangers.

Next up for the young R’s is a visit from Cardiff City to Harlington this weekend.
