Tractor Boys prove too tough for R’s

QPR UNDER-18S let a one-goal lead slip in defeat to Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Paul Furlong’s side made the breakthrough at Harlington, taking the lead courtesy of Stephen Cahill’s own goal just after the half-hour mark.

Two goals in the final 10 minutes sealed victory for the visitors – Conor McKendry’s sublime solo effort and a fourth from Bailey Clements completing the scoring.
