Rangers run riot on the road
QPR UNDER-18S romped to an impressive victory at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday afternoon.
Paul Furlong’s youngsters came from behind at the Eddie Davies Academy, running out convincing winners despite trailing inside 12 minutes.
The comeback began on 20 minutes. Mickel Platt levelled the scores, before Jardel Francis-Adeyinka edged Rangers in front four minutes before half-time.
And the young R’s continued where they left off after the re-start. Marcus Brooks – who was on target against Huddersfield Town at the weekend – scored his second goal in four days while Amrit Bansal-McNulty completed the scoring on 67 minutes.
Furlong and co will hope for more of the same when they go on the road again this weekend, travelling to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
