Bristol City U18s v QPR U18s - Professional Development League Two South - Saturday, 11th November 2017 - SGS Wide Campus

JARDEL Francis-Adeyinka's brace couldn’t prevent QPR Under-18s suffering defeat at Bristol City on Saturday.

Rangers fell behind inside eight minutes and two more goals in quick succession midway through the first period left the young R’s with a mountain to climb.

Francis struck six minutes before the break, though, to give the visitors a lifeline.

Any lingering hopes of a comeback were extinguished 20 minutes from time, however. City added a fourth goal before Francis scored his second moments later with what proved just a consolation.

The Under-18s return to Harlington this weekend, where they welcome Millwall on Saturday.

QPR U18: White, Drewe (Carlyle 60), Woollard-Innocent, Mesias, Disubi (Williams-Lowe 46), Gubbins, Ribeiro, Orafu, Francis, Kifwasima, Grant (Remy 60).

Sub (not used): Dickinson.

Booked: Grant, Ribeiro.

Goals: Francis-Adeyinka 39, 72.
