QPR U18s v Bristol City U18s - Professional Development League Two South - Saturday, 20th January 2017 - Heston
A FIRST-HALF hat-trick from Charley Kendall fired QPR Under-18s to victory over Bristol City on Saturday.
Three goals from the R’s striker in the opening 36 minutes did the damage at Heston for Paul Furlong’s youngsters, who made it two wins from two in 2018.
It took Rangers less than a minute to make the breakthrough. After Kendall was initially halted following a burst into the box, the ball ricocheted its way back to him to fire into the far corner.
It was 2-0 on 21 minutes, when Kendall got in front of his marker to glance home Kai Woollard-Innocent’s left-wing cross at the front post.
And Kendall completed his hat-trick nine minutes before the break. This time the striker latched onto a through ball before calmly slotting past the City goalkeeper.
The visitors pulled a goal back early in the second half, but it was merely a consolation as Rangers coasted to victory.
