QPR U18s v Burnley U18s - Professional Development League Two South - Saturday, 16th September 2017 - Harlington

TWO goals in four first-half minutes inflicted defeat on QPR Under-18s against Burnley on Saturday.

Paul Furlong’s youngsters were on the backfoot early on at Harlington, and fell behind on 11 minutes. Tristan Jumeau fired home inside the area to make the breakthrough.

1-0 soon became 2-0, as the Clarets doubled their lead moments later. Leighton Egan this time provided the finishing touch to give Rangers a mountain to climb.

The R’s looked for a response and came closest when Jardell Francis-Adeyinka forced a fine save from visiting goalkeeper Adam Bruce.

There was to be no comeback, however, as the visitors stood firm for all three points.
