Rangers come from behind to beat Charlton
QPR UNDER-18S produced a stirring second-half comeback against Charlton Athletic on Saturday to record back-to-back wins in the Professional Development League.
Rangers – who’d edged a nine-goal thriller with Colchester United last time out – found themselves behind at the break after Athletic break the deadlock five minutes before half-time.
However, two goals in the space of 10 minutes midway through the second period turned the game in the R’s favour.
Amrit Bansal-McNulty equalised on the hour-mark before Jardel Francis-Adeyinka completed the comeback with a second.
Tyla Dickinson was the R’s hero at the other end. Charlton were handed the chance to level the scores from the spot 15 minutes from time but Dickinson kept out the penalty to preserve all three points.
Rangers go in search of a third straight win at Bristol City this weekend.
