QPR U18s v Millwall U18s - Professional Development League Two South - Saturday, 18th November 2017 - Harlington
A FIVE-STAR performance saw QPR Under-18s get back to winning ways in some style on Saturday.
Two goals inside the opening nine minutes set the young R’s on their way against Millwall, who conceded a third before being reduced to ten men midway through the second period.
Rangers took full advantage, scoring twice more late on to set the seal on a comprehensive home win at Harlington.
It took the R’s just five minutes to break the deadlock. Nathan Carlyle opened the scoring, before Faysal Battache doubled the R’s lead just four minutes later.
Rangers continued where they left off after the interval. Leandro Ribeiro added a third just after the hour-mark moments before the visitors saw red for dissent.
Two goals in the closing stages added gloss to the scoreline.
Gilbert Miller converted an 80th-minute penalty before Marcus Brooks rounded off a perfect morning’s work with a fifth in stoppage time.
Victory lifts the Under-18s up to sixth in the Professional Development League South table ahead of this weekend’s trip to Coventry City.
