QPR’S UNDER-18S came from two goals down to salvage a point from a six-goal thriller at Sheffield United on Saturday.
Paul Furlong’s youngsters found themselves 2-0 down in Yorkshire heading towards half-time, but goals in the final minute of the first half and the first of the second hauled Rangers level.
Aiden Mesias halved the deficit before the break, while Leandro Ribeiro equalised within seconds of the re-start.
It remained 2-2 until 15 minutes from time, when United regained the lead through substitute Tom Clarke.
Rangers showed their fighting qualities once more, though, and levelled within two minutes. Mesias grabbed his second of the game with a neat finish to secure a point.
Meanwhile, the hosts finished a man light after defender George Cantrill was dismissed for a stamp on R’s goalkeeper Tyla Dickinson.
Rangers welcome Leeds United to Heston this weekend.
