ARMELINDO Mema’s double wasn’t enough to prevent QPR Under-18s losing a five-goal thriller with Birmingham City on Saturday.

Mema’s opener inside four minutes gave Rangers the perfect start, but Birmingham replied with two goals before the break to lead at half-time.

Mema restored parity with his second just before hour-mark, but Birmingham claimed all three points with what would proved to be the winning on 65 minutes.
