QPR U18s earned a point in Professional Development League 2 South on Saturday by coming from behind to draw with Cardiff City at Imperial Heston.

Paul Furlong’s R’s took the lead through Hamzad Kargbo after 13 minutes but they found themselves trailing by the hour mark. Kieron Evans levelled proceedings for the Bluebirds before Harry Pinchard put them in front.

The setback tested Rangers’ resolve but they never showed signs of giving up. They were rewarded seven minutes from time when Armelinda Mema – who had come off the bench in the second period – hauled the R’s level.

Next up for Rangers in their FA Youth Cup tie at Mansfield Town, which is set to be contested on Tuesday 10th December.

QPR U18s: Little, Paiva, Mahorn, Harrack, McLean, Orafu, Aoraha (Jude-Boyd 60), Griffiths (Babajide 60), Dougui (Mema 60), Kalathias, Kargbo.

Subs (not used): Middlehurst.
