QPR youngsters thrashed at the Macron Stadium

QPR UNDER-23S’ unbeaten start to the season ended at Bolton Wanderers on Monday night.

After finding themselves 2-0 behind at the break through goals from Alex Perry and Alex Samizadeh, four more late on sealed an emphatic win for the hosts at the Macron Stadium.

Samizadeh completed his hat-trick and even added a fourth, before Huyga Tanner made it six in second-half stoppage time.

Rangers had chances of their own throughout but were made to pay for not taking them. Paul Hall’s side at least managed a consolation goal through Ody Alfa, converting Josh Bowler’s cross at the death.

QPR: Dieng, Campbell-Young, Barzey, Paul, Hamalainen, Arthur (Folkes 58), Darbyshire (Bowler 70), Akinola, Adams, Eze, Alfa.
