Colchester United U23s v QPR U23s - Professional Development League Two South - Monday, 29th January 2018 - Florence Park

QPR’S UNDER-23S let a half-time lead slip in defeat at Colchester United on Monday.

Paul Hall’s side – which included Grant Hall as the defender continues his recovery from injury – came from behind to lead at Florence Park, but were undone by two second-half goals.

Colchester made the breakthrough courtesy of Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe, but Rangers replied with two quick-fire goals either side of the half-hour mark.

First, Ilias Chair levelled before Chay Tilt fired the visitors in front.

The R’s lead didn’t last, however. Ryan Gondoh restored parity before Ogedi-Uzokwe’s second of the afternoon proved the winner 20 minutes from time.
