PAUL Hall’s Under-23s suffered a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea on Thursday morning at the Premier League sides Cobham training ground.

A goal in either half for the hosts saw the young R’s lose their penultimate pre-season friendly.

Chelsea took the lead after 25 minutes when midfielder Luke McCormick converted from Tariq Lamptey’s centre.

The Blues completed their win 15 minutes from time when Tino Anjorin beat R’s keeper Harvey White in the bottom corner.

QPR’s Under-23 side travel to Southampton’s Staplewood complex on Monday as they wrap up their pre-season campaign.

QPR U23s: White, Felix, Kefalas (Wells 46), Fox, Genovesi, Tilt (Bettache 73), Bettache (Bansal-McNulty 55), Agyemang, Alfa (Dalling 30), Mesias (Cardoso 68), Platt (Alfa 49).
