QPR brushed aside Nottingham Forest with an impressive 6-2 victory in this Premier League Cup clash at Grosvenor Vale.

Andy Impey's R's raced into a four-nil lead before the break thanks to goals from Ody Alfa, Stephen Duke-McKenna (two, one penalty) and Aaron Drewe.

Forest's Ateef Konate pulled a goal back for the visitors on the stroke of half-time - but it couldn't spark a second-half comeback as Rangers ran out comfortable winners in the end.

Further goals, from Alfa and Sean Adarkwa, saw the Hoops increase their tally to six goals. Lewis Salmon scored Forest's second but it was scant consolation in the end.

QPR: Little, Williams-Lowe, Woollard-Innocent, Drewe, Mahorn, Pruti, Armstrong, Aahora, Adarkwa, Duke-McKenna, Alfa.
