QPR WOMEN came from behind to take a point from Sunday’s trip to FA Women’s National League leaders Coventry United.
Rangers shipped seven when the sides met earlier in the season, but the R’s defence were resolute this time around.
Nikki Miles headed the table-toppers in front on the half-hour mark from Amber Hughes’ corner, but the visitors responded well.
Kasha Petit’s first goal of the season – converting Stephanie Anes’ set-piece – restored parity midway through the second period as the visitors fought back for a share of the spoils.
Both sides had chances for the win but it ended all square as Rangers came away with a prescious point in the R’s fight for survival.
Next up is a crunch clash with bottom-placed C&K Basildon at Uxbridge this weekend.
