IT WAS seventh heaven for QPR Development Squad as they cruised to victory over Cray Valley in the London Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.
A hat-trick from Philip Sanyaolu, double from Daniel Bennie as well as efforts from Alex Aoraha and Tylon Smith clinched a comfortable win at The Artic Stadium.
Rangers kicked off their London Senior Cup campaign in style with Aoraha’s second-minute effort giving the Super Hoops the advantage early on.
Iby Akanbi would pull an effort back for the hosts on 12 minutes, but an impressive four-minute period saw a double from Sanyaolu to seemingly put the contest out of Cray Valley's reach at the break.
Bennie’s spot-kick on 56 minutes made it four, with Akanbi again reducing the deficit for the visitors just four minutes later.
However, despite Cray Valley’s best efforts, further strikes from Bennie and Sanyaolu on 68 and 70 minutes respectively certainly ended the contest.
Isaiah Harvey made it three on the night for the hosts late on, before Smith’s final-minute effort capped off a professional evening from the Super Hoops.
QPR Dev Squad return to league action on Friday 12th December, facing Cardiff in the Welsh capital - KO 7pm.
