QPR entertain Kaizer Chiefs
Academy
8 December 25
SOUTH African giants Kaizer Chiefs roared into QPR's TSG Training Centre on Saturday.
The Chiefs’ Reserve champions were in west London for a friendly with the R’s Academy – final stop on their 11-day UK tour which also saw them beat Manchester United (3-1) and draw with Leeds United (1-1).
Rangers fielded a mixture of First Team, Development Squad and Under-18s players for the fixture, which finished goalless following a closely-contested 90 minutes.

Centre-back Tylon Smith was among those to feature against his compatriots, just hours before flying back home following Smith’s first senior call-up.
The young defender also took centre stage post-match for an interview and Q&A with the Chiefs, celebrating the 20-year-old’s incredible achievements in 2025.
Kaizer Chiefs jetted back to Johannesburg on Monday – the same day Smith links up with South Africa as preparations begin for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
