YOUNG QPR defender Cole Kpekawa has been called into the England Under-20 squad for the first time.

The R's left-back, who made his first senior start for the Hoops against Yeovil Town in the Capital One Cup earlier this season, has been called up as a late replacement for Manchester City's Kean Bryan.

The Young Lions play Czech Republic at Shrewsbury Town's Greenhous Meadow on Monday night.

The fixture will also be Keith Downing's first official game in charge of the age group, since it was confirmed in July that he would be one of four new interim national coaches.

Tickets for the game in Shrewsbury are on sale now and cost just £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions. They can be purchased directly from Shrewsbury Town FC by clicking HERE or by calling 01743 273943.

Congratulations Cole!
