COLE Kpekawa has been recalled from his loan spell at Portsmouth by QPR.

The 18 year-old defender has been with the League Two club for a month and was due to stay until the end of the season.

During his time at Fratton Park, Kpekawa made two appearances for the south-coast side.

Andy Awford was replaced as Portsmouth manager shortly after Kpekawa’s arrival at the club, and former QPR player and manager Gary Waddock is now in caretaker charge.

Earlier this season, Kpekawa spent two months on loan at League One side Colchester United, where he made six appearances.
