Breaking News

YOUNG Brazilian striker Guilherme Dellatorre has joined QPR on loan.

The 21 year-old front-man arrives in W12 having helped Atlético Paranaense to a third place finish in the Brazilian top-flight last season.

Dellatorre scored three goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A campaign, during a loan spell from his current club Desportivo Brazil – one of Brazil’s top academy outfits.

R’s boss Harry Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk: “He’s a young player from Brazil, who our scouts have watched and like.

“I’ve not been to Brazil to see him play, but he’s appeared on the radar and is a young player who is probably one for the future rather than the here and now.”

Dellatorre added: “I am very excited for this opportunity. QPR is a big club and I am very happy to be here.

“I have always watched English football as a kid, so it is great to now be part of it.

“I will give everything for the shirt and do everything to honour it.”

The loan is subject to receiving international clearance.
