QPR defender Max Ehmer has joined Sky Bet League One side Carlisle United on loan until the start of next month.

A regular in Rangers Elite Development Squad this season, the German centre-back made his first team debut earlier this season in QPR’s 2-0 win against Middlesbrough.

Ehmer, 21, has previously spent time on loan at Stevenage, Preston North End and Yeovil Town.

Max’s loan in Cumbria runs until 1st December and he could make his debut at Brunton Park on Tuesday night when Carlisle host Wolverhampton Wanderers.
