Breaking News

STEVEN Caulker is the latest cover star on Hoops – the official matchday programme of QPR – for the visit of former club Swansea City to Loftus Road on New Year’s Day (Thursday).

“Swansea like to pass the ball. It’s important that we press them high – and don’t allow them to do that,” the former Swans loanee for 2011/12 told us, looking ahead to the Premier League fixture, and back on Sunday’s 0-0 home draw with Crystal Palace.

“I think we’ll see a less physical game than we did against Palace.

“Palace set up to counter attack – they had three very-quick men on the break. They played to their strengths.

“Swansea like to get the ball down, and have got a particularly-great striker in [Wilfried] Bony. We’ll have to be on top form to stop him.”

Elsewhere, we hear the thoughts of manager Harry Redknapp, captain Joey Barton and former ace Gary Chivers respectively among many others in our award-winning publication, priced at £3 once again this term for the TENTH consecutive campaign!

Thursday’s edition will also include a special feature looking back on a 2014 to remember, while visitors Swansea are profiled in detail.
