BEN Gladwin played his final match of his 28-day emergency loan for Swindon Town on Saturday in their 1-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic. 

Gladwin’s current loan spell is due to end on the 5th November after making five appearances for the Robins, scoring one goal. 

Meanwhile, Oscar Gobern’s loan spell at Doncaster Rovers has ended after the midfielder unfortunately injured his crucitate ligament in his knee during training. Gobern is set to return to Loftus Road to be assessed by the R’s medical team. 

He made five appearances for the League One side after joining them in August. 

Darnell Furlong’s Northampton Town threw away a two goal lead against Newport County to draw 2-2 at the weekend.

The 20-year-old made his 11th start for the Cobblers who are now fifth in League Two.

Right-back Furlong is due to remain at the Sixfields Stadium until 14th November but in ineligible for Town’s FA Cup first round fixture against Coventry City this weekend under the terms of his current loan.


DRAW: Furlong features in 2-2 draw with Newport County

Wycombe Wanderers beat Mansfield Town 2-0 elsewhere in League Two as Michael Harriman made his 15th appearance. 

Playing in an attacking midfield role he helped the Chairboys climb to 9th in the table.  

Jake Mulraney came on in the 50th minute of Dagenham and Redbridge’s 2-0 defeat against Luton Town on Sunday.

Mulraney replaced Jodi Jones as League Two’s bottom side slipped to another defeat.

It was the final appearances of his current loan with the Daggers. Teammate, Frankie Sutherland was not in the matchday squad. 

After appearing in Southampton’s midweek Capital One Cup win against Aston Villa, Steve Caulker was back on the substitute’s bench for the Saints 2-0 win against Bournemouth. 

Finally, forward Ben Pattie has returned from his loan spell at Woking where he made nine appearances, scoring one goal.
