  • Darnell Furlong helps Northampton Town to 4-2 win at Morecambe
  • Oscar Gobern plays 66 minutes of Doncaster Rovers 1-1 draw
  • Michael Harriman helps maintain Wycombe’s play-off push

DARNELL Furlong helped Northampton Town to a second successive win of his loan spell as the Cobblers saw off Morecambe 4-2 at the Globe Arena.

Following his debut for Town last weekend, the young right-back was booked as he completed another 90 minutes of action.

Northampton moved up just outside the play-offs in League Two following victory.

Meanwhile, Steven Caulker was not named in Southampton’s matchday squad for their 3-2 defeat at home to Manchester United.

Caulker hasn’t featured in a Premier League match for Saints for nearly a month.

In League One, Oscar Gobern was substituted after 66 minutes of Doncaster Rovers 1-1 draw at home Oldham Athletic.

The QPR midfielder was replaced by Richie Wellens on his third appearance for managerless Rovers.

Back in League Two, R’s full-back Michael Harriman was booked in Wycombe Wanderers 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Matt Bloomfield handed the Chairboys the lead after 40 minutes before ex-QPR loanee Jay Simpson equalised for the O’s in the 66th minute.

A point keeps Harriman’s side fourth in the League Two table.

Elsewhere, Niko Hamalainen is still yet to make a league appearance for Dagenham and Redbridge as he was again an unused substitute in their 0-0 draw against Newport County.

And finally, forward Ben Pattie has extended his loan at Woking for a further month but was not included in the squad for the Cards 1-0 defeat at home to Cheltenham Town.
