Breaking News

CHAMPIONS League chasers Arsenal are our visitors tomorrow night (Wednesday) – and Matt Phillips insists QPR ‘can beat anyone at Loftus Road.’

After a weekend off in the Barclays Premier League owing to Tottenham Hotspur’s involvement in the League Cup, Rangers are back in action and will continue their fight for survival against the Gunners.

Tomorrow’s fixture is the first of two London derbies this week, with Spurs in W12 on Saturday.

Speaking to Hoops – QPR’s official matchday programme – the in-form Phillips said: “Arsenal play a style of football where they keep the ball and make you work hard chasing it.

“But we’re at home and I believe we can beat anyone at Loftus Road. If we play our game, I think we can get three points to help us climb the table.

“It’s important that we build on our home form this season. We’ve been good at home so far, but we have to continue that now.

Cover Star: Matt Phillips is the main interview in Wednesday's programme

“Loftus Road has been a bit of a fortress for us this year. And our away performances are beginning to improve, too. Hopefully we can start picking up more points on the road.

“But tomorrow night and on Saturday, we’re at home and we have two big games to contend with. Hopefully we can get some points on the board.”

In Wednesday night’s Hoops, Phillips is the subject of ‘The Big Interview’ as we prepare to face Arsene Wenger’s men. You can read more from the winger there.

Elsewhere, we hear the thoughts of head coach Chris Ramsey in his first programme column as boss, team captain Joey Barton – who talks in detail about his sending off at Hull City – and former goalkeeper Lee Harper among many others in our award-winning publication, priced at £3 once again this term for the TENTH consecutive campaign!

Visitors Arsenal are also profiled in detail.
