UNDER-21S youngster Michael Petrasso has joined Leyton Orient on a 28-day youth loan.

The R’s winger, who made his senior debut at Barnsley on the final day of last season, will stay at the Matchroom Stadium until Tuesday 7th October.

Petrasso returns to League One after two successful loan spells at Oldham Athletic and Coventry City last term. The Canadian Under-20 international scored twice in 22 appearances during his stay in the third tier, including the winner on his Football League debut.

The 19 year-old is eligible to represent Russell Slade's men in the Capital One Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy and could make his Orient bow – currently 18th in the table – when the O’s host Colchester United on Saturday.
