THE AirAsia brand will once again take centre stage next season, following confirmation of a new shirt sponsorship deal between QPR and the multi award-winning low-cost airline.
The new one-year deal, which will commence from the start of the 2014/15 Premier League season, will see the AirAsia logo displayed on the front of the R’s home, away and third strips for the entire campaign.
The club has worked closely with AirAsia over the past three seasons and this latest announcement will serve to strengthen the relationship that exists between the two brands.
QPR Commercial Director, Euan Inglis, told www.qpr.co.uk: “We are delighted that AirAsia have agreed to extend their association as the club’s lead partner for a fourth consecutive season.
“Our relationship with AirAsia continues to develop year on year, as we collectively look to expand and roll out collaborative commercial and socially aware initiatives in key territories as demonstrated by the hugely successful AirAsia QPR coaching clinics, which were held in Singapore and Malaysia earlier this year.
“AirAsia are a fantastically supportive partner of the club, and we are excited to have the opportunity for another season to further develop what is an already close working relationship.
“This is fantastic news on the back of our recent return to the Premier League.”
