QPR fan's cycle for charity

R'S supporter Mike Morley wanted to take part in a fundraising challenge to support both the Alzheimer’s Society and QPR in the Community Trust.

Hearing the news about R’s legend Stan Bowles impacted on Mike, as he lost his mother to dementia in 2011. He really wanted to do something to help the Alzheimer’s Society and the Community Trust as a result.

So over three days before today’s QPR v Charlton game, Mike and his partner, Carol Beard, have cycled to the match at Loftus Road from Birmingham, down the Grand Union Canal.

At our last home fixture v Middlesbrough, Mike was presented with a QPR shirt by club ambassador Andy Sinton.

Congratulations, and thanks, to both Mike and Carol. If you would like to support them, please go to uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SomeoneSpecial/grandunioncanalcycle.
