SIX First Team players attended three different QPR Trust summer soccer school camps on Thursday afternoon.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Leroy Fer, Sebastian Polter, Darnell Furlong, Michael Doughty and Reece Grego-Cox were all out and about in the community ahead of the big Sky Bet Championship kick-off this weekend.

Trust Football Development Manager, Stephen McCarthy, who hosted Polter and Furlong at Botwell Leisure Centre, praised the six players, commenting: "They were model professionals throughout their time with us - speaking with the children, passing on advice, refereeing the tournaments and signing every possible item the children gave them at the end!

"It means the world to these kids to see some of their heroes in the flesh and the fact the guys come out so close to the new season is all credit to them."

QPR Soccer Schools run throughout the summer at a number of venues across West London. For more information visit www.qprcourses.co.uk
