RAVEL Morrison has been crowned Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for March.
The West Ham United loanee beat off stiff competition from Ipswich Town defender Christophe Berra, Watford front-man Troy Deeney and Bournemouth full-back Simon Francis to win the award, following a month which saw him score five goals and provide one assist for the R's.
Rangers boss Harry Redknapp praised the impact Morrison has made since his loan switch from Upton Park, commenting: "Ravel has been excellent for us.
"He’s been good on the pitch and good off the pitch as well. He’s been great around the place and not a minute’s problem.
"I am really pleased for him, it’s a well-deserved award and let’s hope he can win it again this month!"
Redknapp added: "He has settled in really quickly, but that’s no real surprise because he is such a special talent. We were hoping he would come in and do what he’s done.
"He is a kid with amazing football ability and it would be a real waste if he doesn’t become a top England player of the future.
"Ravel’s passionate too, and he has shown that. I really couldn’t have asked for any more from him. He has worked hard with the ball and without the ball.
"He has been top-class. Let’s hope he can keep that up."
