Breaking News

R'S YOUNGSTERS Sam Magri and Jamie Sendles-White have been called up by their respective nations.

Magri, who joined the R’s from Portsmouth in August, has been drafted into the England Under-19 squad to replace Middlesbrough’s Adam Jackson.

The defender will now be part of an 18-man squad for the First Qualifying Round of the UEFA European Under-19 Championships.

In what is effectively a mini tournament, Magri could be involved in fixtures against Faroe Islands tomorrow (Friday) and Ukraine on October 1st.

Sendles-White, meanwhile, has been selected for Northern Ireland Under-19s, who are also taking part in the First Qualifying Round for the same competition.

The Green and White Army will face Czech Republic, Greece and Moldova over a five-day period in October.
