QPR Club Ambassador Andy Sinton has welcomed the news of Ian Holloway’s return to Loftus Road.
Holloway was appointed as the R’s new manager on a two-and-a-half year deal on Friday night, marking a return to the club where he played alongside Sinton during the early-nineties.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk about Holloway’s return, Sinton said: “The club have made a change and it’s a fresh start again. Ollie is back and he’s QPR through and through.
“For me, it’s a super appointment. Hopefully he can unite the club and take us forward. That’s what we all want.
“I played with Ollie here and he’s a real fighter who gets the best out of those around him. I think that’s what I admire most about him.”
Sinton was on hand to greet Holloway at Loftus Road yesterday and his passion was there for all to see, as the R’s Club Ambassador acknowledged.
“By nature, Ian’s a very bubbly, infectious character,” he said.
“He knows the club and he’s been here before. He’ll get the fans on board, too.
“Now it’s time for us to come together as one. To get behind the appointment and show Ian our support."
